LCAS manages the dr. juozas kriaučiūnas scholarship fund. every year LCAS distributes about $10,000 as scholarships from this fund.

scholarships are granted to catholic students of lithuanian heritage who already have a bachelor's degree and seek to achieve a master's or doctor's degree.

candidates should be somewhat active in the community. the targeted degree may be in any academic discipline, including religious disciplines.

candidates may submit themselves or be nominated by someone else. either way, they will need a recommendation as well as an application submitted by May 31.

the candidate's academic institution may be in any country.
